Our Mission
The mission of GWS is to promote the conservation (protection, management and wise-use) of wildlife in all its forms (plants, animals and their habitats).
The Society is a non-governmental, non-political, non-profit making environmental organization which seeks to conserve wildlife in all its forms to ensure a better environment and improved quality of life for all people. GWS is the BirdLife International partner in Ghana. We aim to initiate and support projects which address specific problems; create public awareness and education through conservation programmes; promote the conservation of wildlife protected areas & encourage research on wildlife, environmental protection and conservation.
We strive to build a relationship of trust with every client, for the long-term. Seventy percent (70%) of our work is for clients that we have served for over the years.
Founded in the 1970s, We are focused on developing a strong consulting field through market education, publications, events, research and analysis.
